Kollegio Ambassador Program

Program terms

Written to be read. If anything here does not match what the app does, the app is wrong and we want to know.

Draft. These terms describe how the program works today and have not yet been through legal review. They will be finalised before the program opens publicly.

What the program is

You share a personal Kollegio link with people who might find Kollegio useful. When someone signs up through your link and finishes setting up their account, that counts as one friend. Enough friends unlocks a reward.

There is no cost to take part, no quota, and no penalty for stopping. You are not an employee, contractor or agent of Kollegio, and you cannot make commitments on our behalf.

Who can take part

You need to be at least 13 and a current high school student. Some rewards are only available to ambassadors who are 18 or over — where that applies, the reward simply is not offered to you rather than being shown and locked.

If you are under 18 we may ask for a parent or guardian's email address before sending a reward.

When a friend counts

A friend counts once they have confirmed their email address and finished setting up their Kollegio account. Until then they show on your Friends screen as still finishing setup. Nothing is lost while they are in that state — they move across the moment they finish.

A friend can only ever be referred once, by whoever's link they first arrived through. If someone already had a Kollegio account before clicking your link, they do not count as a new friend.

You cannot refer yourself, and you cannot refer someone using an address you control.

Rewards

Reward thresholds and values are shown in the app and can change. A change never removes a reward you have already earned.

Every reward is checked by a person before it goes out. That normally takes a few days. We will email you when yours is on its way.

Gift cards and cash rewards may be reportable income depending on where you live and how much you receive in a year. We may need your details to meet a reporting obligation before we can send a reward above a certain value.

Referrals that get reversed

If a signup turns out to be fraudulent, duplicated, or made by someone who was not a real new user, we may reverse it. Your friend count and credits go down accordingly, and you will be able to see that it happened and why.

We do not reverse a reward that has already been sent to you because of a later reversal on the referral behind it.

Buying signups, using bots, creating accounts for people who did not ask, or spamming are all grounds for removal from the program.

Suspension and removal

We may suspend or remove you from the program. If we do, your link stops counting new friends and you can no longer sign in to the ambassador portal.

Rewards you have already earned and been sent are yours. Rewards you have unlocked but not claimed stay claimable for 30 days.

People you referred are not affected in any way by anything that happens to your ambassador account.

Your data, and theirs

We show you a first name and last initial for each friend, and nothing else. Never their email address, their school, or anything from their profile. That is a firm limit, not a default setting.

We keep your application, your referral activity and your reward history for as long as you are in the program and for as long afterwards as we are required to.

If you gave us a phone number, we use it to contact you about your application and your rewards. We only send you marketing or reminder texts if you separately ticked the box asking us to, and you can stop those at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects how you earn or receive rewards, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

Getting in touch

Questions about the program, a friend who did not count, or a reward that has not arrived: reply to any email we have sent you and a person will read it.
